Axial Flow Check Valve

The axial check valve stands as the preferred choice for crucial non-return applications, such as safeguarding rotating equipment and systems where minimal pressure loss, stable operation, and dynamic behavior are paramount. The ACEV API 6D axial flow check valve, designed for silent in-line operation, automatically safeguards critical components from reverse flow and pressure transients.

Ranges:

·Size: 2" to 48" (DN50 to DN1200)
·Pressure Rating: ASME CLASS 150 to 2500 (PN16 to PN420)
·Temperature: -196°C to 816°C (-320°F to 1500°F)
Constructed from cast steel with a metal seat, the valve features end connections including flanged (RF, FF, RTJ, etc.) and butt welded (BW) options. The body is crafted from a range of materials, including Monel, Inconel, Hastelloy, Incoloy, Duplex and Super Duplex, Carbon Steel (including Low Temp), Low Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, and Titanium.

Applicable Standards:

·Design: API 6D, ASME B16.34
·Flanged End Dimensions: ASME B16.5
·Butt Weld Dimensions: ASME B16.25
·Face-to-Face Dimensions: ASME B16.10, EN558, JIS B2002, MSS SP72
·Pressure-Temperature Ratings: ASME B16.34
·Inspection & Testing: API 598, EN12266, MSS SP82, ISO 5208
·Fugitive Emission Control: ISO 15848, API 624, API 641
·Firesafe Certifications: API 607, API 6FA, ISO10497
Features:

·Ultra-fast closing action powered by a robust spring
·Venturi pattern design for optimized performance
·Minimal friction between moving parts to prevent jamming
·Spring-assisted, short stroke mechanism
·No chattering effects to minimize pressure fluctuations under normal conditions
·Low pressure drop for efficient flow
·High dynamic response with zero reverse flow
·Nozzle design for valves larger than 20 inches to enhance flow regulation
This valve's powerful spring ensures swift and reliable closure, initiating as forward velocity slows. By the time flow ceases, the valve disc is securely seated, preventing reverse flow and mitigating pressure spikes and water hammer phenomena.

Axial Flow Check Valve: Premier Choice for LNG Applications

LNG train operators prioritize production availability to ensure a consistent supply of LNG, fulfilling long-term contracts and avoiding costly penalties for delays. To achieve this, they rely on the most reliable equipment for critical components. Among these, non-slam check valves are pivotal in the LNG process, with ACEV's Non-Slam Axial Flow check valves being trusted in world-class LNG trains globally.

In the LNG process, compressors and cooling systems consume the most energy. Minimizing pressure loss in these systems is crucial. Proper selection and sizing of check valves play a vital role in this regard.

ACEV Axial Flow check valves stand out with their expansive flow area and advanced pressure recovery design, offering the market's lowest pressure loss. Each valve undergoes application-specific sizing with detailed pressure drop calculations, ensuring minimal pressure loss and stable operation.
