·A bonnet extension/column ensures that the packing rings remain shielded from cryogenic temperatures, maintaining optimal operating conditions.
·Both the valve body and obturator undergo thermal stabilization treatment, ensuring dimensional stability and preventing distortion throughout temperature fluctuations.
·A cavity relief pressure arrangement mitigates thermal impacts.
·Hardfacing on the seat and disc prevents seizing and galling, ensuring smooth operation.
Extended Bonnet: The bolted or integral vapor space extension is of sufficient length to keep the stem packing out of the cold zone, preventing ice formation and ensuring reliable performance.
Steel Forgings or Castings: These materials are resilient at cryogenic temperatures and can be classified as "cryogenic steel," exhibiting excellent impact strength and corrosion resistance.
Shell and Trim Parts: Crafted from austenitic stainless steel and sub-zero treated in LN2, these components offer unparalleled durability and performance.
Insulation Collar / Drip Plate: Upon request, a welded or clamped-on insulation collar/drip plate can be provided, ensuring effective thermal insulation and drainage.
