Double Ball Valve

ACEV double ball valves integrate two inline isolation valves within a singular body, complemented by a bleed valve that facilitates the drainage or venting of fluid trapped between the obturators. This design ensures unparalleled safety in double isolation and bleed operations.

Opting for a double ball valve instead of two separate units offers notable advantages: it conserves weight and space in piping layouts, and significantly minimizes the risk of atmospheric leakage, thereby reducing hazards associated with liquid or gas transfers.

Moreover, these valves boast several distinctive features tailored to tackle harsh offshore conditions. Material choices can be fully customized to align with customers' project specifications, ensuring advanced technical solutions tailored to demanding environments.

ACEV's double ball valve design offers a distinct advantage: two valves seamlessly integrated into a single, robust body. This eliminates potential leakage paths, minimizes the need for end connections, and maximizes space and weight efficiency.

The design ensures double isolation and provides genuine double block and bleed functionality, offering reassurance through rigorous safety and seat integrity checks. This is achieved by utilizing two physical barriers to maintain pressure when operating downstream of the closed valve.

ACEV's double ball valves are primarily available as Full Bore Valves, but a Reduced Bore Design is also an option. Both the Primary and Secondary Isolation Valves are standard ball-type valves, featuring either a Floating Ball or Trunnion Ball Design. The bleed valve can be an integral needle-type valve with a screwed or flanged bonnet, or it can be a flanged valve such as a ball valve, Double Block & Bleed Valve, or Monoflange.
