Cryogenic Gate Valve

Cryogenic gate valves are tailored for unique operational environments, thriving in temperatures plummeting below -40ºC, and are predominantly employed within gas liquefaction systems. Their distinctive elongated bonnets immediately catch the eye, strategically positioned to ensure stem integrity amidst the flow's severe cold, while also functioning as a thermal barrier, minimizing heat transfer from the exterior to the valve's interior. This innovative design not only fosters energy efficiency but also enhances system performance.

ACEV's cryogenic gate valves boast a revolutionary flexible wedge design, ensuring minimal leakage and seamless operation even at minimal pressure differentials. Their lightweight construction and robustness make them ideal for industrial gas transportation applications.

ACEV offers two elegant bonnet designs for its cryogenic gate valves. The Bolted Bonnet variant features a male-female joint with a spiral wound gasket crafted from F316L and graphite, with ring joint gasket options available upon request. Alternatively, the Welded Bonnet design sports a threaded and seal-welded joint, with an optional full penetration weld for ultimate durability.

ACEV Flow Control crafts cryogenic gate valves adhering to rigorous standards such as API 600, API 602, ASME B16.34, BS 6364, and MSS SP-134.

For API 600 specifications, the bonnet is crafted from cast steel, incorporating an integral backseat for added strength. Alternatively, API 602 valves feature a forged steel bonnet with an integral backseat, ensuring robustness and reliability.

All gate valves in our portfolio are fully traceable and utilize API 622 and API 624-approved packing to minimize emissions. They come in both bolted and welded bonnet configurations, offering reduced and full port options, as well as threaded, socket-welded, and flanged end connections for versatile installations. An optional degrease, clean, and seal process is available to safeguard against contamination, ensuring pristine valve performance.
