Cryogenic Check Valve

Cryogenic check valves are specially engineered to endure extremely low temperatures, dipping below the freezing point. These valves inherently permit the flow of liquids or gases in a single direction, thereby safeguarding the environment from unwanted reverse flow in pipelines. For cryogenic applications, uniquely designed check valves are imperative, as they must withstand sub-freezing temperatures.
ACEV offers cryogenic check valves in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 36", capable of securing pressures up to CL600 and operating at temperatures as low as -196°C. Due to their resilience in harsh working conditions, these valves are extensively utilized in various industrial manufacturing processes, including oil and gas, food and beverage, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and numerous other sectors.
ACEV Flow Control excels in manufacturing a diverse array of cryogenic check valves, including forged, cast, and axial types, all meticulously designed to meet the demands of a broad spectrum of industrial applications and ensure peak performance in ultra-low temperature settings.
Forged Cryogenic Check Valves boast exceptional strength and durability, thanks to their construction from forged materials.
Cast Cryogenic Check Valves feature intricate shapes and designs, achieved through the casting of their bodies.
Axial Cryogenic Check Valves minimize pressure drop and turbulence with their innovative axial flow path design.

Cryogenic Forged Check
Valve
The fundamental design aspects of ACEV's small forged steel check valves are tailored to meet the unique requirements of cryogenic service conditions.
These valves come in three cover options: piston bolted, ball type bolted, and swing check bolted.
ADDITIONAL DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS:
·All valves are equipped with extended bonnets featuring a gas column length specified by the customer, ensuring the stem packing remains functional by maintaining a sufficient distance from the cold fluid.
·NPS 1⁄2–2 (DN 15–50) valves incorporate solid Stellite 6 wedges, ensuring smooth operation without galling in cryogenic applications.
·Thorough degreasing, cleaning, and sealing of pipe ends are standard procedures for all cryogenic valves to prevent contamination.

Cryogenic Cast Check Valve

The fundamental design of ACEV's cast steel swing check valves is tailored to meet the unique demands of cryogenic service conditions.
ADDITIONAL DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS:
·All valves are equipped with extended bonnets featuring a customizable gas column length, specified by the customer, to ensure the stem packing remains functional by maintaining a sufficient distance from the cold fluid.
·Flexible wedges with Stellite seating surfaces are utilized for seamless operation in cryogenic applications.
·Rigorous degreasing, cleaning, and sealing of pipe ends are standard procedures for all cryogenic valves to prevent contamination.

Cryogenic Axial Check Valve

The axial flow check valve, a silent operator, functions autonomously, opening and closing its disc via the medium's flow. This flexible device is engineered to prevent the reversal of fluids and gases, including non-corrosive gases like nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and propane vapor, as well as water, across a broad flow rate spectrum.
ACEV's cryogenic axial flow check valves stand out with several key benefits:
·Swift closing to mitigate water hammering
·Customizable sizing tailored to individual applications
·Robust durability and extended valve lifespan
·Accommodation of low-pressure drops and high flows
·Gentle, non-slamming operation
·Tight shut-off ensuring zero leakage
·Versatile end-to-end configurations
·Installation versatility in both horizontal and vertical orientations
