Wedge Gate Valve

ACEV Flow Control excels in producing forged and cast-body, bolted bonnet OS&Y gate valves, featuring a diverse range of materials, trim options, packing types, sizes (from 1/2" to 48"), and pressure classes (150LB to 2500LB). The mechanical attributes of ACEV's wedge gate valves render them perfect for bi-directional flow control applications, ensuring minimal turbulence and pressure drop during full system opening and closing.
These valves adhere to API 600, API 602, and B16.34 standards, while their face-to-face and end-to-end dimensions comply with ANSI B16.5 and B16.25 specifications. In wedge gate valves, the closing mechanism is a wedge-shaped gate with flat sealing surfaces. The wedge's design intensifies surface pressure on the sealing surfaces upon tightening, enhancing sealing performance.
The wedge itself can be split, solid, or flexible. A split wedge, comprising two parts, ensures tight closure even under light torsion or varying temperatures. Flexible wedges feature grooves that allow slight bending under high pressure, aiding in valve opening. Conversely, solid wedges, devoid of such grooves, are compact and suited for short-structured valves and larger sizes.

Forged Gate Valve

Corrosion Resisting Gate

ACEV's corrosion-resistant cast stainless steel gate valves adhere to the design specifications of API 603 and ASME B16.34. They come in both bolted bonnet and welded extended (cryogenic) bonnet styles.
The ACEV product line boasts a lightweight design, available in ANSI classes 150, 300, and 600#, with sizes ranging from 2” to 24” in nominal diameter. This diverse range offers end-users a variety of valves tailored to their needs. These valves are crafted according to API-603 design standards for gate, globe, and swing check valves.
Yaap gate valves excel in providing a tight shutoff and are widely used in numerous applications for bidirectional fluid flow isolation.


Pressure Seal Gate Valve

Pressure seal gate valves are specifically engineered for high-pressure applications. Among the most prevalent types for such purposes are the flexible wedge and parallel slide pressure seal valves. These valves typically feature cast or forged bodies, spanning dimensions from 1/2 to 24 inches, and pressure ratings ranging from 900# to 4500#. They are equipped with socket weld or buttweld ends to ensure robust, tight flanged joint connections, although flanged ends are also an option.
ACEV specializes in manufacturing pressure seal valves, including gate, globe, and swing check designs, all in accordance with API 602, ASME B16.34, API 600, or ISO 10434 standards.
Our Forged Pressure Seal Valves incorporate a pressure seal bonnet designed to enhance sealing performance as pressure increases. These valves are ideal for high-temperature and high-pressure applications, such as steam systems, where superior sealing characteristics are crucial at elevated pressures.
