Concentric Butterfly Valve

Concentric butterfly valves, also known as resilient-seated butterfly valves, excel in a diverse array of applications, encompassing cooling water, chemicals, brine, oil mud, hydrocarbons, wastewater, firewater, seawater, natural gas, flare gas, and more. Featuring a stem centered within the disc and the disc centered in the valve body, the disc maintains constant contact with the valve seat, which can be crafted from materials such as EPDM, NBR, Viton, Silicon, Teflon, Hypalon, and Neoprene.
ACEV's rubber-lined concentric butterfly valves offer unparalleled performance and reliability across a broad spectrum of uses. They are available in sizes ranging from 2" to 88" (DN50 to DN2200), with a pressure rating of ASME CLASS 150 (PN16) and a temperature tolerance of -46°C to 200°C (-51°F to 400°F). Constructed from cast steel with soft seating, they boast a variety of end connections, including flanged, wafer, lug, and butt-welding, and their bodies can be made of carbon steel, low-temperature carbon steel, low-alloy steel, stainless steel, bronze, and more, all with an epoxy coating.
These valves adhere to numerous applicable standards, including MSS SP-67, API 609, EN 593, BS 5155, and ISO 10631 for design, ASME B16.5 for flanged end dimensions, ASME B16.10, EN558, JIS B2002, and MSS SP72 for face-to-face dimensions, ISO 5211 for mounting pads, ASME B16.34 for pressure-temperature ratings, API 598, EN12266, MSS SP82, and ISO 5208 for inspection and testing, ISO 15848, API 624, and API 641 for fugitive emissions, and API 607, API 6FA, and ISO10497 for firesafe performance.
Boasting bi-directional, bubble-tight shut-off capabilities, these valves are suitable for dead-end service (lug only) and feature a pinless disc and stem design for sizes 2" to 12". ACEV concentric butterfly valves are widely utilized in various industrial fluid control applications. Compared to traditional globe and ball valves, they offer significant advantages in terms of lightweight design and cost-effectiveness. With the rapid advancement of the rubber material industry, ACEV's resilient butterfly valves are now not only used in water drainage systems but also in stepped flow control systems.
Based on their connection type, butterfly valves are categorized into various types of concentric butterfly valves:

The Wafer Butterfly Val
ve:

Sandwiched securely between two flanges, the Wafer Butterfly Valve boasts a design where none of the flange bolts penetrate the valve body. It offers a cost-effective isolation solution. Available in API609, EN 593, BS 5155, and high-performance versions, its compact design makes it a prime choice for space-constrained applications. This valve can feature concentric, double, or triple offset configurations.

The Lug Butterfly V
alve:

Equipped with lugs on its body, the Lug Butterfly Valve allows for direct pipe mounting without the need for additional flanges. The counter flange bolts thread directly into the valve, providing a cost-effective isolation alternative. Popular options include API 609 and high-performance versions. Its compact design suits applications with limited space. Among these, the concentric butterfly valve is the most widely used and economical choice.

The Double Flange Butterfly V
alve:

Featuring two flanges on its body, the Double Flange Butterfly Valve offers enhanced stability and security in high-pressure applications. Options include API609, double offset (also known as double eccentric), high-performance, and triple offset versions. The concentric configuration is the most commonly used and least expensive among these flanged-style valves.
